About Taash
Taash brings several popular South Asian card games together in one app, so you do not need to install each one separately. It currently includes Callbreak, Kitti, Jutpatti, Dhumbal and Solitaire.
The games work completely offline against computer opponents, and the app is designed to stay small and ask for no unnecessary permissions.
Five card games in one Taash app
In Nepal and much of India, people call playing cards "taash" (also tash or taas). This app puts the most popular taash games in one place, so you only need to install one app. You get Callbreak, Dhumbal, Jutpatti, Kitti and Solitaire. Each game has its own computer players, and you can change the rules.
All the games work offline. The app is small and does not ask for extra permissions. Play a quick game on the bus, during a break or with your family.
The games in this app
Callbreak (Lakdi) is a trick game for four players, like Spades. You bid how many hands you will win, and spades are the trump cards. Dhumbal (also called Jhyap) is for two or more players. You try to keep the lowest total in your hand. You throw away runs of three or more cards of the same suit, sets of the same card, or one high card.
Jutpatti is a quick and easy game. Each player gets an odd number of cards and tries to make pairs. In Kitti (9 Patti), you get nine cards and make three hands of three cards to beat the other players. Play classic Solitaire when you want to play alone.
Free, offline and made for players in Nepal and India
The games in Taash follow the rules that people play at home in Nepal and India. When rules are different in your area, you can change them in the settings. Strong computer players mean you never have to wait for friends. The games work offline, so they use no mobile data. Taash is free on Android.
